Biography

Marius Bytautas is a Lithuanian baritone based in Kaunas. In 2026, he sang the title role in Verdi’s Rigoletto with North Wales Opera, conducted by Andrew Charity, and Marcello in Puccini’s La bohème with Clyde Opera, conducted by Răzvan Luculescu.

His work with Kita Opera includes staged excerpts as Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Michele in Puccini’s Il tabarro and Escamillo in Bizet’s Carmen. In January 2027, he will sing Prologo / Tonio and Silvio in Kita Opera’s touring production of Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci.

He graduated with honours in Performing Arts (Singing) from Vytautas Magnus University in 2024 and continues his master’s studies in singing. He also holds a master’s degree in Education and is pursuing doctoral research in Education at the same university.
